Another exciting day in Little Wrens...
We began our day with our 'Wrenbury Walk' and then it was time to learn some football skills with Tracey. We played a game, learned to dribble the ball, then took part in our very own football match. There were a lot of own goals but we definitively had lots of fun! Thank you Tracey.
Next, Kathryn visited us and shared the story, 'Norman the Slug'. He didn't like being a slug and wanted to be a snail. We soon discovered that we are all wonderful and special just the way we are. We also had our very own slug visit – the children were fascinated by him. They took good care of him and even built him his own home using the sticklebricks. We also created our own Norman the slug craft and manipulated playdough to make a snail. Great fun was had and a very important message shared! Thank you Kathryn!
It has been a busy day and i don't know about the children but I am exhausted. Make sure you rest ready for our sports day tomorrow afternoon.
