Little Wrens have been busy explorers today. After reading the story Digging for Dinosaurs, we learned that we know so much about dinosaurs because of fossils and bones that have been discovered. We found out that fossils are bones that have turned to stone.
During provision, the children became palaeontologists, carefully excavating and taking care of their eggs. They made some exciting discoveries — we think they may be dinosaur bones or even dinosaurs! We will have to continue our investigations tomorrow.
