Little Wrens – A Wonderful Week of Learning!

It's been another fantastic week for our Little Wrens, as they continued exploring the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. This week's focus was on sequencing the story in a variety of fun and engaging ways.

In phonics, our N1 children enjoyed lively rhyme time sessions, while the N2's concentrated on the phoneme 'k'.

In maths, we explored 2d shapes through a range of hands-on activities, encouraging the children to recognise and describe shapes in their environment.

Outdoors, the children spent lots of time enjoying the fresh air and using the space to enhance their learning through play. The children were excited to discover that our strawberries are beginning to ripen.

Indoors, we completed plenty of caterpillar-themed crafts, experimenting with different media to support creativity and fine motor skills. The fruit and veg shop has been buzzing with activity and our construction area saw some incredible creations – such brilliant imaginations at work!

As well as all of this, we have also been practising our races ready for Sports Day next week!
