Lent with Kathryn Davies

We have had a lovely visit from Kathryn today, who delivered an assembly all about Lent. With the help of a few children, she told us the story of Lent. The story shared a conversation between Jesus and the devil (the tempter), who tried to convince Jesus to worship him instead of God but he said no. Thankfully, the angels came to look after Jesus and take him away from the desert.
Jesus wanted everyone to quietly share God’s love with one another and Lent is now a time to share love with everyone.
