Health Hackers Base 4 and 5

We have had a fantastic visit from Hannah at Health Hackers who came to teach us about germs. We used a UV light to see the germs on objects such as water bottles, balloons and even a toilet seat. 

We then had a go at painting our partners hands, who then had to wash their hands whilst being blindfolded. The result of the handwashing wasn’t great and many children still had paint on their hands. The germ detectors came along to check our hands and they weren’t very impressed. 

Hannah then showed us how to wash our hands properly using a dance and song. The message for our sessions this morning was to keep ourselves clean to prevent germs from spreading.
