Happy Retirement, Mrs Roberts

Can you believe it – Mrs Roberts (second on left) has worked at the school as a cleaner and a midday assistant since her children were little and started at Wrenbury – about 25 years ago. Yesterday we gathered together to thank her and to wish her all the very best as she begins her retirement. Mrs Roberts has always been a lovely, friendly and caring member of our school family and we know she doesn't like a fuss but we couldn't let her go without a proper, whole school goodbye and to give her some gifts and a beautiful cake made by our very own star baker, Miss Phillips. We also know she loves walking her dog and that we'll bump into her when she's out and about and can have lots of friendly catch-ups. We wish Jane (Mrs Roberts) all the very best, knowing she will pop in and see us again, soon.
