Giraffes Can't Dance
Mrs. Dopierala: May 2021
Base 1 have been discussing and exploring the life of Wangari Maathai. Reception then branched off to the story "Giraffes can't Dance". We have been talking about all the things we can do and the things we can't do YET! Our class motto is "I can if I try", alongside our school motto " "We all matter", it may take a little practice but it will be worth it, I will find the right music to help me.
The children in Base 1 gathered materials from our lovely outside area to make our own giraffes. Our next step will be to paint their patterns which will connect to our math's lessons. We will post our finish masterpieces when completed.
