Following the AGM on Thursday 19th October, the new FOWS committee positions have been appointed to:
Nicola Pegram (Declan and Kimberley's mum) — Chair
Jo Heath (Ruby's mum) — Vice Chair
Lorraine Cooke (Liv and Eva's mum) — Secretary
Lyndon Jones (Charlotte's dad) — Treasurer
The new committee are looking forward to working with parents and carers in the forthcoming year to put on a range of events — please do support them in any way you can.
Thanks are given to the past committee position holders of 2016-17: Scott Heaton, Amanda Clarke and Lyndon Jones, and all the parents who suppported them last year (and in previous years) in fundraising for school.
Next Community Event: Bonfire and Fireworks at The Cotton Arms - Saturday 4th November.
This will be a fabluous night out for all the family, so do come along and join the fun!
We're looking for volunteers to be bucket holders / shakers at the entrance gates and to help sell 'glow in the dark' goodies — both jobs can be on a rota basis. Please contact school if you can help.
Please note that all entry donations are coming to school; many thanks to Steve Harding, Joe Kelly and Julie O'Dowd for this fantastic contribution to school and our children.
Do look out for news on the Christmas Fair and how you and your family can get involved to make this a fantastic event on Friday 8th December.
