After observing that our caterpillar had formed its chrysalis, we've been watching and waiting for the magic to happen. On Friday, we were lucky enough to witness our butterfly hatch – wow, wow, wow! What an incredible experience for the children (and the adults too!).We learned that it takes around two hours for a butterfly's wings to dry and harden before it is ready to spread its wings and fly.

Yesterday, we released our butterfly into our forest area. What a truly magical moment! The children loved watching it begin its new adventure, and it was a wonderful way to see the final stage of the butterfly's life cycle come to life right before our eyes.
