The Dogs Trust

Bethan, from the Dogs Trust has visited us in school again this year and as always, she was fantastic and shared a wealth of knowledge with the children across school.

We started the day with a whole school assembly and Bethan introduced herself and her dog that she bought into school (her teddy dog).

We have then had a workshop to help us with how to be a best friend to our dog whilst also keeping ourselves safe around our own dogs, around Albie in school and dogs out in the public. We even learnt about ways to care for our dogs at home to teach our parent. We explored different ways to support our dogs whilst also staying safe and being a good dog best friend. 

We would all like to say a big thank you to Bethan from the Dogs Trust, who was amazing all day and taught us so much about staying safe around dogs..
