Dear Earth….

Today Little Wrens have started their new theme, learning about how to look after our world. We began by looking at a globe and discussing that this is our world-a planet called Earth. We talked about how the Earth is made up of water and land and shared ideas about what lives in the sea and what lives on land. Next, we shared the story Dear Earth and explored just how wonderful our world is. We learned that our Earth is fragile and that we all have a part to play in keeping it a happy home for all living things.

In provision, we have enjoyed using pipettes to create pictures of the Earth, exploring loose parts to represent the planet, sea creatures and land animals, and drawing pictures of things that are part of our world.
