Celebration Tea Party!

Our amazing readers were celebrated in true old-fashioned style on Tuesday with a lovely tea party in the school hall!

It reminded me of the stories my nanny used to tell me -- she attended Wrenbury School over 90 years ago and would share fond memories of enjoying tea and cakes with the headteacher's wife in School House as a special reward. To make the occasion even more special, we served the cakes on my nanny's favourite china -- a beautiful way to honour her memories and bring a touch of the past into our celebration.

This felt like the perfect way to recognise our wonderful children who have shown outstanding dedication to reading this year -- some have read over 250 times since September, and many have even reached over 300 reads!

A huge well done to each and every one of you -- you truly deserved your special treat, and we're so proud of you!
