Cave Art in B3

Continuing with their art project linked to their class story Stig of the Dump, Base 3 moved away from experimental charcoal drawings of the animals that have been found drawn in caves to explore hand prints that have been found. Using charcoal and chalks, they created their own hand print 'cave art'. We have ended the art project by making stick fames and covering in mod roc to simulate the chalk walls of Stig's cave. We've then used charcoal and chalk to recreate some of the images found in the cave at Lascaux. Enjoy our art work.
