Building the Houses of Parliament

Base 5 have been busy this week and because we unfortunately, couldn’t go to London with Year 6, we have used our time to look at the Houses of Parliament and build models of them. We started by exploring nets of 3D shapes and then creating our design for how we will build our chosen part of the Houses of Parliament showing which nets we would need. We were then ready to start creating our models and they are looking great. We are very excited to add our electrical circuits into them to make them light up.
