We have had another very busy week in Base 5 and Year 6 have been working excepti9nally hard with the preparation for SATs.
In English, we enjoyed more of our book and have been exploring features of a diary and the language needed so that we can write one from the character’s point of view. In maths, we have been exploring all types of angles – some of them have made us think very hard.
We have enjoyed valuing our learning and presenting it in our Learning Journey books. Year 6, in science, have started learning about the circulatory system whilst Year 5 have been exploring forces.
We had a few things to share at the end of today: an earthquake alarm made by hand at home, which was excellent and some honeycomb from a home beehive!
We are looking forward to a lovely bank holiday weekend!
