Base 5 sketching

We have linked our history into our art today through exploring a range of pots discovered by archaeologists. We started by looking and commenting on the different pots exploring the differences and similarities. We then sorted them to decide on which pots were from the ancient Romans and which ones were ancient Greek pots. Eventually, we sorted them correctly and began to observe closely and sketch detailed pots. The children were extremely engaged with their sketching and clearly including the finer details.
