Base 5 science

In our science, we have been exploring light, we have discovered a range of light sources and learnt about how our eyes can see light. We then moved on to learning about how light is reflected and we came across a problem. During a battle between the Romans and the Celts, what would they do if they wanted to see over a wall/barrier, to see if the enemy were advancing towards them. We discovered that we could use mirrors and started to create a periscope so that we could see over a wall without getting fired at. We will continue these tomorrow and hopefully be able to spot the enemy over the wall!
