Base 5 history

This week, we have been learning about the roles of men and women during World War Two and how these roles changed during the war. We started with a range of artefacts and had to work out what type of job they would have been used for. We used close observation, prior learning and discussion to work them out. The most exciting was opening the wooden box to find an old sewing machine.
