Base 5 geography

We have had a great week in Base 5 this week and everyone has been working so hard. It was lovely to see so many parents at Parent's Evening this week.
In geography, we have been learning about trade and what this was like during the Roman Times. We have started to explore what the Romans imported and exported around the Roman Empire. We have also linked our geography with some work about Harvest to find out where the foods we eat come from, how far they have travelled and some interesting facts about them.
Don't forget our trip to Worcester Roman City on Monday!

Another busy week has flown by in Base 3. This week, we were amazed by water! We began learning about the water cycle by drinking water that was billions of years old! The water we were drinking may have been sucked up by the trunk of a woolly mammoth or even supped Tutankhamun!
