Base 4 Writers

Mrs Carden and I have been very impressed with both the enthusiasm and quality of writing that Base 4 have been crafting so far this term.
From Kennings about Grendel, the 'night-stalker'; 'life-taker', 'death-bringer' from the Anglo-Saxon epic poem Beowulf;
To a suspense-filled narrative anticipating Grendel's arrival at Heorot Hall in a piece called 'Alone, I waited';
'Dusk snuck away as the the night awakened. In the darkness of the night something stole away from its lair.' Nathan

To a newspaper report based on the real-life finding of an Anglo-Saxon hoard of coins that ended up in a court case. Well done, Base 4!
