Base 4 Learning Journey Covers

A huge thank you to all the parents, carers and families who joined us for yesterday afternoon’s Sharing Picnic. It was wonderful to welcome you into school to celebrate the end of another fantastic year of learning. The children loved sharing their books, talking about their achievements, and enjoying the picnic with you all.

Base 4 has spent the afternoon putting the finishing touches to their Learning Journey book covers today. This term, we have been learning all about early Christianity in Britain and the Viking raid on Lindisfarne Monastery. Our final artwork was inspired by the ruins of the Lindisfarne monastery itself. The children used mixed media to create textured, atmospheric scenes that captured the history and mystery of this incredible site. Their finished covers look fantastic and reflect the hard work and creativity they’ve shown throughout our topic.

Well done, Base 4 — what a brilliant way to end our learning journey!
