Base 4 Dam Building

The children in Base 4 have been working hard to design and construct their own dams. They have applied their prior learning by developing individual designs, carefully considering the most appropriate structure for their dam. The children explored different materials and discussed how these could be used effectively to create a stable and functional structure. This activity has supported them in developing their problem-solving skills, as well as their understanding of how materials behave. We look forward to evaluating the effectiveness of their designs once the clay has dried.
