This afternoon we have made a start on our sculpture work in art. Queen Idia from the Kingdom of Benin was an important figure during the time. Many masks were created of Queen Idia to represent her power. We have made a start on recreating these masks using cardboard, newspaper and masking tape to add relief to the mask.
