Base 3 Oracy Assembly

I am so very proud of the Base 3 children who gave a fantastic 100 % effort for our class oracy assembly today.

We have worked hard this week learning what it takes to be good speaker. We practised loud, clear voices, speaking slowly for the audience to hear and ensuring our mouth opens enough to let the words out clearly too.

The children read some of their Stone Age Shelter instructions to the whole school. As well as this, some children shared their letter writing that they produced last week in character as Barney from our class story, ‘Stig of the Dump’. Finally, others shared their amazing ‘Stig’ descriptive writing in order to show off their developing oracy skills.

Well done Base 3, keep up the good work!
