We had a week filled with Romans, number crunching and French in Base 3 last week.

The children enjoyed some interactive French, learning how to greet each other and introduce our names. We also have been busy getting towards the end of our place value unit in Maths, consolidating our knowledge of hundreds, tens and ones and how to partition with confidence.

Finally, we got stuck into looking at why the Romans were so good at invading other territories. We concluded that they had a super strong army, great tactics, good weaponry, leaders and unmatched fighting skills. We created a super display in class to showcase our learning and are very proud to show off our achievements. Well done Base 3- let's look forward to next week where we will build on this in Geography, looking at the pattern of invasions across the Romans' ever-growing empire all those years ago.
