Base 3 and 4 science
Miss Phillips: December 2019
What a great way to end our week!
This afternoon Base 4 have been super teachers, teaching Base 3 all about forces and magnets. The children found out about the north and south poles of a magnet, exploring which poles attract and which repel. We looked at contact and non contact forces using iron filings and a magnet. We used magnets to investigate which objects were magnetic and non -magnetic and sorted them. We also tested to see which magnets were the strongest by finding out which magnet could pick up the largest amount of pins or paper clips.
Base 4 were super teachers and Base 3 were excellent learners. Well done!
