Base 2 Wrenbury Hall Trip

Today Base 2 walked to Wrenbury Hall, to learn about the Starkey Family and the Civil War. We had a wild wet walk through the fields, across Sir Thomas Fairfax bridge, through a turnip field and down the hall’s drive. When at the hall we had a tour, did some drawings of the hall and were treated to some ice cream. The hall also kindly made some civil war/Wrenbury hall booklets for the children to complete in school and a Wrenbury hall tote bag for the children to take home. The children had a really enjoyable time! We would like to say a massive thank u to Anne and her family for welcoming us into the hall.
