Base 2 Theme Day

Today Base 2 have had an amazing Theme Day! The day began by presenting our beautiful work from the last few weeks and explained what we were going to be doing on our Theme Day to the whole school in an assembly this morning. Our first activity of the day, we experimented with mentos and coke followed by our second experiment making a bullet train zoom! In the afternoon the children participated in afternoon tea on our in-house Flying Scotsman experience. They waved their flags, sipped some tea (just some water) alongside eating some cake and biscuits.

All children attended the day in their most amazing outfits including trains, train drivers, astronauts and dressed in their best for the Flying Scotsman experience!
