Base 1's teddy bears picnic!
Miss McKinnon: February 2022
It's Paddington's birthday in Base 1 and to celebrate we had a teddy bear's picnic.
The children all wrote their own invitation for the picnic and instructions for how to make a sandwich! They then used these instructions to help them make their own sandwiches, thinking carefully about the order they needed to do things and how to spread using a knife.
The children had a special chocolatey treat from Mrs Charlesworth that they enjoyed making for their pudding. A marshmallow with chocolate and a smartie on top. Yum!
We loved bringing our teddy bears in and sharing our picnic with them. We even had time for a little dance!
