Base 1 Welly Time

To finish off our story The Christmas Pine by Julia Donaldson, we created our very own festive tree! First, we used our funky fingers to carefully wrap wool around a tree-shaped template. Then, using the wonderful natural treasures we collected on our Wrenbury walk at welly time – such as leaves, pine needles, twigs, and grass – we gently threaded them through the wool. The children had great fun exploring textures and choosing different items to decorate their trees, and each creation looked beautifully unique!
