Base 1 Welly Time

Base 1 had a wonderful time during Welly Time today! The children used magnifying glasses to explore our outdoor area and discover all sorts of interesting things. After reading Superworm by Julia Donaldson, we went on an exciting worm hunt to see if we could find some of our own wriggly friends. We talked about the different places worms might like to live and how important it is to be gentle, safe, and kind when exploring nature to help keep all the creatures around us happy and protected.
