Base 1 Welly Time

To finish off our learning around the story Funny Bones, we took our learning outdoors for a special Welly Time adventure!

We read the story together and recapped our learning about what a skeleton is and why we need one. The children then had lots of fun exploring outdoors, collecting sticks and leaves to create their very own skeletons!

It was wonderful to see the children using their imagination while developing their understanding of the human body. They also enjoyed using lots of new vocabulary, including slinking, ribs, bones, hips and many more. It was a fun way to bring our learning to life!
