Base 1 – Road Safety

Today, Base 1 enjoyed a very important learning session all about road safety. We were delighted to welcome PC Sharon and PC Nick,, who visited our school to teach the children how to stay safe near roads. Some of our wonderful children from Base 5 also took time out of their day to share their knowledge and explain why road safety is so important. The children listened carefully and then had the opportunity to practise their new learning with their friends. They confidently demonstrated that they know the key steps for crossing the road safely: stop, look and listen. We are very proud of how engaged and responsible the children were throughout the session.
