Base 1 health and well-being day one
Miss McKinnon: June 2022
We've had a fabulous day in Base 1! We started off the day with some yoga which the children did brilliantly. We then talked and learnt all about how to be safe on the road- stop, look, listen, think! Later in the morning, our year 6 buddies came to help us write some instructions for how to cross the road. In the afternoon, our buddies taught us how to cross our pretend road and we talked about where it is safe to cross when there are parked cars. Finally, we made our own zebra crossing and road on the playground and practised crossing the road when cars and other vehicles are around. We are very tired after a super busy day but ready for day two of health and well-being week with some more yoga in the morning!
