B4 Theme Day

Today, Base 4 became environmental investigators! This morning, the children explored Wrenbury Village carrying out a traffic survey, carefully collecting data about the different types of vehicles travelling through the area. We then visited the canal to collect water samples ready for further scientific testing. This afternoon, the children will be presenting and analysing their traffic survey data before investigating the health of the canal water by testing pH levels and filtering the samples. It has been fantastic to see the children working scientifically, asking thoughtful questions and developing a deeper understanding of how humans impact the environment.
