Awesome Trip!
: February 2019
What an amazing visit we had today; 'Best trip EVER' I heard them say!
We completed a river study, working so well as teams. We measured the depth of the river, we looked closely at the river bank and even looked at what type of rocks had been deposited on the river bed- quite a task with chilly hands!
We carried out a river dip and found the most weird and wonderful creatures- we put them under microscopes to look closer and crikey they made us jump! They were real miniature river monsters! We studied them and created our own scientific drawings- doing an excellent job I may add.
We then went for a walk through the hills- boy did we enjoy this! Space + mud+ craggy hills- what could be more fun?
Thank you for a lovely day Base 5- it was a pleasure to be on the trip with you. I'm sure you will all sleep well tonight!
