Anglo-Saxon Food

We'd like to say a huge thank you to one of our thoughtful children who brought in a delicious taste of the past this week--Anglo-Saxon oats made with oats, honey, dried mango and a dash of cinnamon!

This creative mix not only gave us a glimpse into the kind of ingredients the Anglo-Saxons might have used, but also filled our classroom with a warm, spiced aroma that had everyone curious (and a little bit hungry!).

It was a brilliant way to bring our history learning to life, combining curiosity, cooking, and community. Well done for going the extra mile and sharing something so unique with us all.
