All about Bees – Base 1

Base 1 had a very special start to the morning today! Rhys from Base 5 kindly brought in some of the equipment he uses at home to look after his bees. He taught us all about the different types of bees, the equipment beekeepers use, and shared lots of interesting facts about the queen bee. Everyone was fascinated to learn how important bees are and how they work together in the hive. Rhys also put on his bee suit for us, which we all loved seeing!
