ACHIEVE Assembly

ACHIEVE Assembly was a lovely celebration of all that is great about our school and very much focussed on 'we all matter'. We celebrated the 'Blue' team for gaining the highest team points often linked to learning and attitude to learning. Nancy encouraged us to to also applaud the green team for all their effort in coming second after falling into last place for a number of previous weeks. Base 3 won the 'Attendance of the Week' certificate – well done; they proved it was ok to come in even when feeling 'a little bit under the weather'! We heard about our Star Learners and Achieve Awards winners and those who received a special Headteacher Award for going above and beyond or excelled. Esme was given a special Friendship Award for being caring and thoughtful to everyone. We celebrated Bea and Teddy's, Stanley and Beatrix's personal achievements, too. I was also touched by a lovely, thoughtful and special Headteacher Award given to me, as a surprise, for 'always being there when someone needs help'. We are a special school with wonderful children (and staff), who all deserve celebrating! Bessa Cador
