Year 6 Science

In science we are learning about the circulatory system. The children have been fascinated to learn about the make up of the blood and as part of this we have made blood smoothies. Pineapple juice represented the plasma, sprinkles were platelets, marshmallows the white blood cells and raspberry the red blood cells. To add to this the children added either apple, banana or orange to identify their blood type. Delicious!
