The Year 6 have been making the most of the sunshine over the past few weeks, taking their learning outdoors. We have used our wonderful grounds to help us with many aspects of learning. In maths we revised area and perimeter, in Literacy we took part in a SPAG treasure hunt and in Science we have all planted a sunflower seed to link with revising plants (I wonder whose will grow the tallest!) We also enjoyed pond dipping, looking at the amazing life in our school pond. Hopefully the good weather will stay with us and we can get outside lots more!

I am so proud of all the children who took part in this afternoon's service at Chester Cathedral led by leaders of different denominations in the Christian Church and attended by Lord David Alton of Liverpool and MP Fiona Bruce.
