Welcome back Base 5

What a great snowy first week back after Christmas we have had. It was lovely to hear about everyone's holidays and great to see everyone back!

We have had a busy week starting our new learning for this term. We have started to explore Climate Change and the children have had so many questions about it all. Many of them are determined to help to make a change. We looked and the causes and impact of climate change and presented these in our Learning Journey books.

In English, we have started writing a poem because our new class text started with a poem about the Loup-Garou. Next week, we will dive further into the book.

Year 6 enjoyed their Welly Wednesday and Year 5 had a great tennis session.

All of the children have been given their homework for this term and I am excited to see what they find out and what they manage to achieve.
