Visiting Author

A 'real' published author visited school on World Book Day – Rebecca King – and was introduced to the children during our World Book Day assembly. Rebecca then led Q&A sessions with years 1, 2 and Y6, where some very insightful questions were asked. Base 3 and 4 were lucky enough to have writing workshops with Rebecca and there was even time for a book signing session. A very inspiring day for our young writers.
We continue to celebrate World Book Day on Monday 6th March with a dressing up a book character day and a Book Swap.
