Visit to Wrenbury Train Station

Base 4 had an exciting afternoon visiting our local train station, Wrenbury. Our visit was Art related but also connected with our Learning Journey in History and Geography. We walked to the train station and were lucky enough to see the crossing come down and witness five trains passing through.
We used our viewfinders from a previous art lesson to explore various aspects of Wrenbury Train Station and sketched them using our mark making techniques from our previous lessons. We will use photos taken of our favourite views to create and image using mark making.
We really enjoyed our visit with some children declaring , it was their best day ever!
