Town Sports 2019
Miss Phillips: June 2019
What a fantastic evening we have had at Town Sports!
Our joint Wrenbury and Sound team were absolutely fantastic throughout both the field and track events! Their behaviour was outstanding and their effort was above and beyond! Well done to all of the children who represented both schools! I are extremely proud to have been at both events with all of the children and all of the staff are proud of what each one of you achieved.
We are pleased to say that many of our children managed to finish in 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their events which is amazing especially when we were competing against other very talented children. Because of the fantastic effort from every child our year 4 team in track finished 1st, the year 5 team in track finished 3rd and overall in the track event we finished in 1st place!!!
Well done again to every child that took part, you have done yourselves and the schools proud!
Thank you to Miss Mckinnon, Mrs Holdsworth, Mrs Cador, Mr Lindop and all of the Sound staff for being super support during the events, it could not happen without them. A big thank you also goes to the parents and carers who transported their children to the events and supported them throughout!
Another successful year at Town Sports! Enjoy the photos!

At 3pm, on the church terrace, Wrenbury School performed some fantastic maypole dancing. cheered on by younger and older siblings, parents...

This week was a busy one- particularly for Year 6 as they had their SATs, I want to say well done to them for being so calm and focused during these. However, SATs were not the only thing have done this week, oh no- we have been busy with so much more! In our history we looked at real Roman coins which were almost 2000 years old. The children enjoyed being able to hold them and look closely at...

Our Little Wrens (N2's who start school in September) joined us this week and sat, listened and watched beautifully. Base 1 had the best attendance of the week, whilst Red team won the House Points trophy. Headteacher's Awards went to Tilly, Florence and Freddie, who all shared their wonderful writing. Our Star Learners shone and our ACHIEVErs were celebrated. We had children share their...
