Science in Base 5
: March 2022
What a super week we have had this week. Reaseheath adventures, swimming and science have been our highlights.
This week, I wanted to share our science learning with you all. We have been learning about plants, looking closely at their key parts and the amazing ways they reproduce. We have observed and dissected beautiful lilies, learning about the different parts of a flower and how these parts help the plant to reproduce. We then looked at other ways in which plants reproduce; corms, bulbs, tubers and cones and spores. We looked closely at garlic , onions and chives plants, learning about how these plants reproduce in different ways.
The children had lots of insightful questions, really enjoying their hands on activities and discovering answers as they explored.
