Roman enquiries in B3

We have had a week getting to know who the Romans were in Base 3, learning lots of new vocabulary along the way. We have discovered that we can use a dictionary and have been practising new skills to find the new words and their definitions. We will keep practising this over the coming weeks...

Also we have been busy consolidating our understanding of number and place value into the tens and hundreds, partitioning in different ways and securing the meaning of each digit. Next week we will develop this further.

Well done to those children who have achieved so well this week from their weekly spelling and reading practise in the first full week back- I'm excited to see who reaches the top of the reading ladder first this term. Keep up the daily reads if possible and remember to record your reading in your reading record.
