Robinwood Day One Waterfall Group
: February 2022
Well, what a day we have had! The children have had a blast and have shown bravery, teamwork, friendship and have been enthusiastic in all they have done. It has been a pleasure to watch the, support each other, push themselves in their actives and simply have fun with each other. Our first activity was ' Nightline'; the children were blindfolded and had to make their way through an obstacle course- communication was key here and the children took great care to ensure everyone had heard the message and were ok.
After that, we enjoyed an archery session- the children were very skilled at this, hitting the bullseye several times. We then went to the trapeze, this looked easy from the bottom but once at the to the nerves kicked in. Once again, the team were brilliant at supporting each other and everyone jumped...twice!
Our final session before dinner was the high ropes challenge. Once again they attacked this with enthusiasm and team work, completing all the challenges that were set for us.
Then dinner and a few more games before hot chocolate and bed.
