Over this term, Wrenbury's netball team have been practising extremely hard in preparation for the Netball League competition. The following children took part in the games: Joe, Charlie, Melissa, Charlotte, Ben Ha, Chloe and Aoife. Every one of them played very well, listening to all the advice given and were very considerate towards other teams. WELL DONE, you should be proud and you are a credit to Wrenbury Primary School.

At the start of March, we played all of our games for the first round against St Anne's, Bunbury, Highfields and Willaston. We were very grateful to Bunbury Primary School who hosted the matches, allowing us to use their courts. Well played a total of four matches in one night, one after the other, but we managed it and kept going no matter how cold our hands got! Throughout each game our techniques improved making sure everyone was using the spaces, marking their players and taking their time to shoot. It was a great evening at Bunbury meeting and playing against other teams from other Nantwich schools.

Following those matches, we had a semi-finals match to play against Millfields Primary School. On Tuesday 21st March, we made our way to Millfield's who kindly hosted the match. Although we were one player down, we still played very well. Everyone was playing to the rules and knew their positions very well. Thanks to Mrs Winward and Mrs Griffin who have been training with the children over the term, the practise has really played off with good footwork, good passing and excellent knowledge of the rules. The game was played very well with everyone trying their best. Millfield's team also played very well and our team and theirs were very considerate to one another.

This was a great opportunity for our Netball team, I would like to say another very big WELL DONE to you all! Thank you to all of the parents who have supported us with this league, it is very much appreciated. Thank you also to Mrs WInward and Mrs Griffin for their training and support at the matches and thank you to Mr Ellis who came along to Millfields to support us too.

Another busy week has flown by in Base 3. This week, we were amazed by water! We began learning about the water cycle by drinking water that was billions of years old! The water we were drinking may have been sucked up by the trunk of a woolly mammoth or even supped Tutankhamun! The children loved the thought of this and we then learnt about the water cycle — the best recycling system! This...
