Base 4

Base 4 have had a lovely few weeks beginning our learning journey together. In the first week we did some team building activities to get to know one another. This was great fun. We have also started swimming lessons which the children are thoroughly enjoying, it was declared " The funnest day ever!"
In Art the children have been exploring mark making. We made mark making tools using natural products. Next we used handmade view finders to look more closely at the marks that various artists used in their work e.g. Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cezanne. Here are some photos of our work in process.
We have also been working on our performance skills in Music. We used the app, Garage Band to allow us to play the Glockenspiel along to a backing track.
